The 1999 appearance of F-104 Starfighters marked the first time since 1982 that Starfighters flew at the Abbotsford Airshow. The pilots of the F-104s are Rick "Comrade" Svetkoff and Tom "Sharkbait" Delashaw.

The two aircraft are ex-RCAF. The original RCAF serials are: 104632 (N104RB) and 104850 (N104RD).

Note, on a couple of the pictures above, the Pepsi logos on the tails of the Starfighters. When they weren't flying, the Starfighters had the Pepsi logos on the tails as Pepsi sponsored their visit to Abbotsford. The logos were not permanent so they were removed before flight.

Due to poor visiblity and low ceiling the F-104s did not fly on Saturday. They did, however, do a couple taxi runs up and down the runway so the crowd could here the awesome sounds of the F-104.
