One of the highlights of the static display was this AH-1W Cobra (164589) from MCAS Cape Pendleton, California. This was the first appearance of an AH-1 at the Abbotsford Airshow.

Accompanying the Cobra was a UH-1N Huey (158773).

The AH-1W Cobra and UH-1N Huey arrived at the same time along with a USAF UH-1N.

Although technically from a Navy Squadron (VX-9 'Vampires' out of NAWS China Lake, CA), I felt the Harrier (163665) pics should be on this page. This was the first appearance of a Harrier at Abbotsford since 1995. The pilot performed a mini-demo on Friday including a hover demo which was a bonus considering how difficult it is to get the official demo team these days. On Sunday, the Harrier did one flyby before forming up with a F/A-18F Super Hornet, also from VX-9, for a pass.
